heather and bob

Heather and Bob were married on a beautiful July day at the Cranbury Inn in Cranbury, New Jersey. Heather has impeccable taste, and the flowers ended up beautifully reflecting the tone of their modern, romantic, and elegant wedding.

Heather's bouquet of roses, hydrangea, cymbidium orchids, rununculus, freesia, hypericum berries, stephanotis, and dusty miller complimented the muted cream and mocha of her dress, and mimicked the texture of its lace.

Bob wore a boutonniere of stephanotis and dusty miller.

The bridesmaids carried natural bouquets of roses, spray roses, hydrangea, waxflower, and hypericum berries.

The bride and groom were married under an arch I made of curly willow and decorated with lush sprays of hydrangea, orchids, roses, eucalyptus, and more. The ceremony was performed in the middle of the dance floor, with guests seated at their tables for an "in the round" effect. The arch created a gorgeous focal point for the ceremony.

The exposed beams of the ballroom were decorated with boxwood wreaths and satin bows.

Two floral topiaries marked the entrance to the aisle.

The bridal party entered for the ceremony from the balcony, descending these steps into the ballroom. The banisters were decorated with garland and beautiful cascades of flowers at the bottom. I also placed glass votive holders filled with river rock and a flickering candle on each step to create a romantic ambiance for the ceremony.

The place card table arrangement of calla lilies, hydrangea, and orchids was set in the middle of a wreath of fresh greens and flowers. The names and table assignments of each guest were written on leaves cut out of green paper and inserted into the wreath. This was the bride's idea (for which I think we have to credit Martha Stewart!), and it was really unique and beautiful.

The cake was decorated with clusters of spray roses, waxflower, and seeded eucalyptus.

I had to add a plug for the cutest flower baby ever...I can say that since she belongs to me! I loved making her delicate head wreath out of chiffon ribbon and clusters of waxflower.
